Who I am *
I’m Raymond F. Seay III, the middle of three children, born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and raised in Atlanta, GA, where I still reside. Storytelling has always been my passion, and while I began my career as an actor, my true creative drive lies in directing, writing, and videography. I’m dedicated to crafting impactful narratives that challenge perspectives, evoke emotion, and bring fresh, authentic voices to the screen.
My experience in front of the camera has given me a deep understanding of performance and storytelling, with roles in projects like Mindhunter (2019), Judas and the Black Messiah (2021), and Black Mafia Family (2021). However, my focus now is on bringing my own stories to life—creating films and visuals that not only entertain but also inspire.
As I continue honing my craft, I’m excited to explore new ways to shape narratives and push creative boundaries. This is just the beginning of my journey as a filmmaker, and I can’t wait to share what’s next.
